Children, in particular, will love to chase this deceptively simple spotlight as it reacts to their movement and leads them on a merry dance. Danish artist, Tine Bech, combines electronics with location tracking technology and the environmental elements of urban spaces to create playful experiences for curious visitors.
Tine Bech’s public art aims to challenge our common assumptions about public space and its use. The work questions public behaviour (don’t touch in galleries, don’t play/ run in public spaces) and encourages interaction, play and collaboration. Catch Me Now is programmed by Tarim.
